How do I request an InterLibrary Loan?

Answer

Use ILLiad interlibrary loan (ILL) and document delivery services (DDS) to request materials not owned by NJIT or to request copies of articles from the NJIT collection. This service is available to current students, faculty, and staff of NJIT.  Go to https://researchguides.njit.edu/illiad for detailed information.

How to Login to ILLiad

  1. Click on "Login to ILLiad" and enter your NJIT UCID and password.
  2. Select the type of item you want to request and fill in the information.
  3. NOTE: First time using ILLiad, you will need to create an ILLiad account. Once this is completed you can begin to submit your ILL requests.

Articles are usually filled within 24 hours and physical books within 7-10 business days.

For more information, contact the Interlibrary Loan office at (973) 596 - 3204 or email lib_ill@njit.edu.
