Q. How do I request an InterLibrary Loan?

Use interlibrary loan & document delivery services to request materials not owned by NJIT or to request copies of articles from NJIT collection. This may include articles, books, conference proceedings, dissertations, reports and videos. This service is available to current students, faculty and staff of NJIT.

ILLiad is the system used to make Interlibrary Loan (ILL) requests by NJIT's user community.

To set up your ILL account, go to library.njit.edu/services/illiad.php .

Click on "Login to ILLiad". and enter your NJIT UCID and password.

If you have not used ILLiad before, a form will come up asking for your name, contact information, and NJIT affiliation. Once this has been filled out you will be able to request items that NJIT do not currently have.

Select the type of item you want to request and fill in the information.

We can usually get an article within 24 hours and a book within 7-10 business days.

For more information, contact the Interlibrary Loan office at (973) 596 - 3204
